    It came to me in a Tweed Deluxe and it was very clean in that amp.  Replaced it with a Weber P12Q clone which provided a lot more colour (grunge) to the sound, which is what I was after with that amp. 

    So yes, its good clean, punchy speaker and very efficient (loud) so you won't have to push an amp with one of these in it.

    Ah go on - I have an old Yamaha G50 112 combo amp in need of an 8 ohm 12" speaker -  the 120 watt rating is a bit more than required for a 50 watt amp, but can do no harm, and I like the high efficiency re getting a good clean tone at reasonable volume without having to push the amp. I think it will suit my needs very well, I'll send you a PM. :)
