For Sale my Mesa Boogie Subway Rocket 20 Watt Combo.

Really nice amp I took in a part ex that I have no room for and because my HK Grandmeister 36 being my main amp.

Looking for £500  now £450 posted in the UK but may look at a part exchange. No original box but it will be well packed for transit and go via an insured & tracked courier service. most likely Interparcel using UPS.

It is the version with reverb rather than the presence control and has a 10" Black Shadow speaker rated at 50W. It is bloody loud for a 20 watter with a decent amout of clean headroom. The Valve compliment is 4 X 12AX7s in the preamp and 2 X EL84s in the power section. The EL84s are marked as a Mesa Engineering matched pair with 6BQ5 being the number on them.

Dual channel (Rythym & Lead) with a contour option too which seems to boost the level and changes the EQ a bit to help it cut through. The channels and contour are nicely voiced for a great clean and crunch/dirty tones add to that you have a shared master Bass, Middle & Treble too.

Comes with an original 3 button Mesa Boogie footswitch. Some scratches etc on it as per the pictures but fully funtional and has a generous length (fnaar fnaar) of cable. There is also a wee pouch in the back of the amp to stow the footswitch safely for moving it about.

Round the back It also has a record/headphone output and a rocker switch that mutes the speaker for silent record or practice, the FX loop has a pot to adjust the wet/dry mix on the serial FX loop, plus there is various outputs for speakers/cabinets.

All in all it is a straight forward classic rock/blues amp with plenty decent sensible options to get a good tone. I am sure it would do fairly high gain if you stick a boost or distortion in front of the amp.

Any questions or more pictures etc give me a shout.

    Had mine for best part of 15 years.  Absolutely trouble free and a cracking little amp. Have a bump.

    Would you consider trading for an Engl Screamer 50 combo? I wouldn't mind something a bit smaller and lighter for taking to rehearsals...

    @uncledick it is that just I am going in a different direction so it needs a new home. Sounds great.

    @Maynehead

    I could be amenable to that. let me do a wee look into the spec etc and get back to you.

    It is definitly lighter and should keep up with all but the loudest drummers.

    Apologies @Maynehead yesterday turned to crap.

    I had a wee look and I don't think I could use the Engl, sorry about that mate.

    As I say sorry for not getting back yesterday.

    Ah, never mind, my dreams of strolling into the rehearsal room with guitar and amp in hand and a smile on my face has been smashed to pieces...

    Don't suppose any of my super strats or the Fernandes Ravelle might interest you at all?

    @Maynehead

    Sorry to have shattered your dreams dude LOL.
    :((

    I shall employ the birch twigs later to atone for my sins.

    Not too sure about the Ravelle being an old fecker LOL but let me see some pics and info on them all. Super Strats are always a good thing.
