SOLD: PRICE DROP Fuchs Train 45 - Trainwreck Express Clone with NOS Valves - Now £750 Delivered
I'm selling my much loved 2008 Fuchs Train 45. I'm the first owner and it's in A1 condition
This is Andy Fuchs spin on the Trainwreck Express Circuit - the ultimate vintage Marshall with enough gain to get into JCM800 territory but with touch sensitivity to die for.
It can go from clean to mean with your pick attack or guitar volume control and is a load of fun to play - works beautifully with G12M, G12H and Celestion Gold speakers. Eats Les Pauls and Teles for brekkie
First to try will buy
- Single input
- 2 12AX7 preamp valves
- TMB, Volume & presence controls
- 3 Position Bright / Normal / Dark toggle switch
- Long tail PI that will take 12AX7 - 12AT7
- Fixed bias with per tube bias adjustment
- Solid state rectification
- Hard / Soft switch (soft introduces some power supply lag / compression)
- 240v
45W with El34s and can be biased to 6V6s for about 22W.
Sold loaded with new JJ preamp 12AX7s and a set of NOS Svetlana 'Winged C' EL34s, which I'm reliably informed at pretty darn close to the NOS Mullards
This is a non-Master Volume amp and In either setup, it'll take your head off at 20 paces - you will need an attenuator to get the most of this amp!, but with one, it's perfectly possible to get great tones and touch at domestic levels
The answer was never 42 - it's 1/137 (..ish)
