Decided to shift my DRRI in favour of my SS22. Thought I could work with pedals but much prefer the tones from my SS22. I'm selling off my overdrives as well in the FX classifieds.

90's version as far as I've been told when I bought it. Looks that way. Has a Behringer replacement handle and audible ticking vibrato. This can be easily fixed but worth mentioning, happens with my 70's vibro champ as well.

    The versatility of the gain channel mainly. I prefer the touch sensitivity of pre amp overdrive than I do pedals. I AB'd a few pedals with the gain channel and was able to get them close if not better (in feeling not necessarily tone) with EQ on the amp.

    I originally went for the DR for the vibrato and studio use but I'm thinking I could just use a Strymon Flint in the loop of the SS.

    The clean channels do sound similar but the DR has more attack in the high end. For gigging the SS22 just makes my life easier.
