Strange one this as there are virtually no references to this I can find. Any info greatly appreciated...

Same size as my Johnson/Recording King JO 16, perhaps a few mm deeper with a bigger curve to the back. Smaller nut width and string spacing.

Late nineties/early noughties?

Sounds good, zingier than the Johnson with perhaps fewer overtones and sounds less open.

    Very nice :D I don't know anything about the Tokai acoustics (and very little about the electrics, but slightly more than I know about the acoustics), I guess you could contact Tokai as olafgarten says, or maybe try the Tokai Registry forum.
