NGD: Recording King ROS-16

What's Hot
I bought this Recording King ROS-16 today and I'm very impressed with it so far. Did it's first gig tonight after an afternoon spent 'prepping' it (strap button, lr baggs M1A fitted, action adjusted) and it performed admirably. I need to keep tweaking the pickup/action but for £145 (shop sale) this thing is unbeatable! Solid spruce top too. http://i.imgur.com/oSxmozw.png

I've never tried any of the Recording King guitars but judging by yours, that's about to change. Not bad at all.

Might have to try one of those, if they're that good...
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

They are, very happy with mine....sonically. It is currently having a refret and set up as there was a slight hump where the neck meets the body and certain notes were choking when I did bends. Probably something to look out for. It has taught me to sight down the neck when buying guitars, something I've never really thought of. The luthier doing the work thought the guitar itself sounded amazing, that's why we agreed it was worth doing the work.
