@thisisguitar I went with a Sensor 50.
That amp seemed to focus on a more flexible overdrive than a clean channel. Which was kinda exactly what I was after. Absolutely love the amp.
Easily a candidate for the best I've owned.

@Nerine - Cool man, I've never tried one of those. 50w is on the money for live use I'd say. I'll have to try one at some point based on your glowing recommendation!

@thisisguitar Yeah, I hear you, mate. I've tried to gig with less and never really gotten away with it. Always ran into headroom issues. That said, with this being a 1x12 combo, I'm kinda wondering how it will fare later. It's getting its first outing this evening so we'll see.
However, the Two Rock voicing on its own, does seem to have band mix in mind, so I'm interested to see how it stacks up with a dense mix with keys and sax too. It's a rock and blues gig tonight, so at least I'll have a lawyer blues amp to take with me! Ha!
In seriousness, the amp sings in situ.
One of the best drive channels I've encountered. It also sounds a lot bigger and fuller than a 1x12 combo has any right to, so I'm pretty confident it'll work out.
I'm usually big heads and cabs so it'll be interesting. I love the fact it's so portable though.

It's lighter and A LOT smaller than my 2x12 Bogner cab alone, so load in and out is going to be a bit of piss. Happy days.

I'll report back.

@Nerine - I found myself running on between 12 and 1 o'clock on both volumes for live shows (we play a lot of festivals). Was using mine with a Kingsley Jouster for rhythm and a TS-9 pushing that for leads, lovely sound! Before my TR I only used combos, makes loading in and out so easy. This year I'll be running two amps with two 2x12 cabs… wonder how long til I regret that.
