With a heavy heart ive decided to move on my Matamp Minimat head and 1 x 12 cab in blonde tolex. In excellent condition. Has a footswitchable boost and attenuator on the back. approx 4 watts 6V6.     its a tentative sale believe me, would rather keep this for the lounge! The Mat Combos ive seen tend to be a bit bomb proof/cumbersum size wise

    Get a little 1x8 cab and have a lovely mini half stack in the lounge. There was a guy selling a 1x8 Matamp cab a little while ago, but I can't remeber if it was on here or on ebay :-(

    I'm not in the market to buy (already having to sell my Cornford to de-amp a bit), but out of interest, what speaker do you have in the cab?

    I ran my old Minimat 1 (el84) through an Egnater 1x12 with a G12-H30 and it sounded the nuts.

    Mine sounds great through a Vintage 30. There is a video online with the amp going through different speakers, check it out. The Premier Guitar review does not do it justice btw, clean headroom will not be a problem at all and the reviewer seems to forget how you can use your guitar volume to clean a single channel amp at higher volume.
