Strat dilemma…advice please

Since buying the forum slut(5E3 Tweedydeluxe), I’m loving it, but only with my Strat. My 335 makes some nice clean sounds but can nowhere near make the glorious rock sounds my Strat can.
   My Strat is a MIM with upgraded wiring, pots and Fender custom fat ‘50’s pickups. I love the sound, but I can’t play it the way I play my old 335, or any Gibson with that similar’60’s/70’s slim neck.
   Is there a Strat out there that could have a similar neck/playability to my Gibson? I’m guessing the neck length could be part of the issue? I don’t know, or maybe I should just try thinner gauge strings on the Strat.
