Lindy Fralin Vintage Hot Stratocaster Pickups £170

For sale is a set of vintage hot Stratocaster pickups.

Fralin’s modern 'hybrid' stagger - as can be seen in the first picture.

The bridge pick up came with a base plate - included (but I don’t like baseplates). 

Some of the wax from the base plate had made its way into the screw hole, lubricating it and preventing the pickup height adjustment screw from ‘biting’.

As you can see from the photograph, the thread is very much preserved / undamaged. Instead of melting the wax to remove it, Fralin advised me to use a cotton thread in the screw hole to afford a good purchase by the screw. By that point, I’d already used a piece of paper which worked beautifully. 

Otherwise flawless.
