The Katana MKII allows you to save 4 Tone Settings (two banks of 2), and you can quickly recall them again via the panel, or through using external foot controllers.

Ready-to-Mix Direct Tones - With outputs for Line, USB, and phones/recording signals that each feature mic'd cabinet emulation, you can send mix-ready amp tones to a PA system, DAW, or set of headphones with ease. The Air Feel settings o nthe rear panel will also allow you to shape the direct sound, with three presets and two custom settings to choose from.

Compact Rig Commander - When used with the optional GA-FC or GA FX EX foot controllers (available separately) you can turn the Katana Artist MKII Head into the perfect gig companion on stages with minimal space available. These switches allow you to directly recall Tone Settings with ease, and independently turn the five effects sections on/off! As if that wasn't enough, the also support external footswitches and expression pedals, with customisation available through BOSS Tone Studio.
