Suhr quietly announce vintage spec Classic S

What's Hot
I was browsing guitarguitar and realised Suhr have announced a vintage inspired limited run of classic S guitars… Haven’t seen them talked about anywhere.

Lake placid blue is one of my favourite finishes so it’ll be tough to resist these! Although normally prefer stainless rather than nickel frets.

    Oh yes.

The Firemist Gold is a beaut.

These will be absolutely killer, no doubt.

Six screw trem, kluson tuners, aged lacquer finishes… looks like Suhr wanted to do a custom shop challenger. Makes the roasted neck a surprising choice though.

It looks like an absolute killer spec but I don’t really get the “Vintage” bit.  9 1/2- 12” compound rad, roasted maple neck, bridge humbucker? Not massively vintage spec

Much like the Tom Anderson 'Icon' series.

Agreed but it is a Suhr without the two most annoying features by the looks of it, I.e. no stainless steel frets, and no silent system, which just adds weight.
