Any Supro Royale owners on here?

I had a play of one yesterday and it sounded very good, but not amazing.

It's marketed as a clean pedal platform, but it has a fair bit of gain with the boost knob engaged and then the fx loop kicks it up again.

Fairly compact size for a 1 x 12 combo and wouldn't look out of place in the average lounge.

The master volume was really good at controlling the volume so no worries using it at home.

What are people's experiences and opinions on these?

I’ve no experience of the Royale but I did have a 1970RK for a while, the supposed speciality pedal platform designed with Robert Keeley.

It was the 12” speaker model and was the worst pedal platform amp I’ve ever heard, despite the hyperbole. Like you describe with the Royale, it had too much gain from the outset and had a very uninspiring sound full stop.

Very disappointing and quickly sent back. My MkIV Hot Rod Deville knocked it so far out of the park it was untrue.
