1969 Gibson J-45 Tobacco Sunburst Square Shoulder

 First year of the square shoulder, and this is one of the very earliest, 1968 serial number example, adjustable bridge J-45's. Original except its had a fixed rosewood bridge upgrade, which is a common thing to find with these adjustable bridge models. The original is included though, If you desired to return it to stock, but a fixed bridge opens up and improves the tone and response.

Beautiful guitar, plays effortlessly and sounds absolutely sublime with a flatpick. No issues. As you can see in the detailed photos, frets are good, neck is straight. No breaks etc, just a bash on the top near the bridge as pictured, but its not structural, just cosmetic, and has no affect on anything. That whole area is reinforced anyway, so you don't even feel it from inside. Just cosmetic on the outside.

Width at nut is approx 43.4mm.

Width at 12th fret is approx 52.6mm

A good honest and highly desirable 55 year old Gibson J-45.

Will come in the hard Gibson case as pictured.
