So I'm searching for a new reverb and considering a few including thr Walrus Audio R1. It sounds great in demos but all reviews I've watched focus on the very ambient sounds. I want a pedal that does ambient stuff but also standard hall, plate etc.

Does the R1 do subtle reverb as well as ambient big washy stuff?

    It's a rule that all reverb demos have to either only be mad surf guitar or washed out ambient madness.
