BNGD (Belated New Guitar Day)

I've got a bit of a thing for gold guitars and have, for some time, been wanting an ES-295. I've never really considered buying a Les Paul as I have a nice SG-3000, but if I did get one it would be a Goldtop with chrome, covered pickups.
Then I saw Richard Hawley playing a LP-295:

Anyway, long story short: I was on holiday in the South of France, saw this guitar for sale in Avignon, and bought it! Very pleased with it - it feels, plays, and sounds awesome.

I took it in the cabin as hand luggage. It went in the overhead lockers just fine. I just had to pay for another piece of luggage and put my cabin suitcase in the hold.
