NGD Squier paranormal offset tele

So the Squier paranormal offset tele that i ordered from Thomann arrived today and for £225 i can honestly say its a superb lovely looking little guitar!
After tuning up, it pretty much plays straight out of the box.
The neck feels lovely, pickups sound great - i’m impressed with the bridge pup tbh and overall its very comfortable.
Only negative i can see so far is that the fretboard is very dry so that needs looking at.
It’s going for a setup tomorrow but tbh very pleased!

    A quick look under the scratchplate and it seems that its ripe for a bit of modding as the body is already routed for a middle single coil.
    Anyone know if they have used this body previously on other guitars?

    There was a Paranormal offset tele from 2020 or thereabouts, with an ss config. Squier make so many offsets now they'd be bound to try and reuse some bits imo.

    Anyhoo, that looks great and  superb price. I must admit the 40th anniversary Jazzmasters are tempting me.

    SFG at £259 / DS at £300!!!!

    It’s rude not to at them prices man. The tech (Heywood Guitar Doctor) was mega impressed as he set it up. Comes with proper bridge too.

    No. The Squier range, once you remove the scratch plate, you will see are routed for various pickup combinations. From a manufacturing point of view it makes perfect sense to rout them for whatever variants you produce. Happily from a modders point of view the tricky bit of the job is already done for you.
