I bought the set for my 5e3 last week and prefer the valves that are already in the amp.
Bought new from Hot Rox last week TAD 12AY7 RT007, 5 mins use only so new.
Mullard 12AX7 bought on Ebay last week, the seller had a few for sale this showing excellent readings on the tester.
I found the set when fitted gave the amp more headroom, I prefer with only playing nearly clean at home the earlier breakup.
£50 delivered.
