For sale, sadly not looking for trades as I have too much gear.

10% of these sales will be donated to wildlife rescue and small rehabbers who are rescuing animals from the impact of recent forest fires.

I have no shipping boxes, so strong preference is for collection from City of London and I might be able to meet up.

These are both relatively odd things compared to the big brands so I've just put some initial asking prices as a starting point. If you don't think I'm in the right ballpark let's chat about it.

Cornford MK50H £850 ON HOLD
Aracom PRX150 £395

Both of these are in good condition and work fine. There are a couple of marks on both but nothing through the paint/tolex.

I used the attenuator with my amps just to take the edge off for playing at home, so I have not ragged the shit out of the power valves in the Cornford or anything else. Well, maybe my Univalve but I'm not selling that and I can afford to kill one valve at a time :-)

  • I had one of these (Cornfords) when they first came out - fabulous amp and certainly not "odd compared to the big brands" and would give most a run for their money. GLWTS anyone who is in the market for a 50w amp could do a hell of a lot worse than one of these......

Ah yes, I could have used a better turn of phrase :-) I was thinking slightly unusual in terms of where to price it.

I'd agree they certainly don't sound odd. It sounds great, I just can't justify having such an amp for home use anymore.

  • I saw Aynsley Lister gig an MK50 and it was one of the best guitar sounds I've ever heard. If I had the money etc..

I know it’s a pain. I might be considering postage but I am really struggling to source amp boxes from local shops

  • So I have to do a Northbound trip out of London next week on Sunday evening.

If you want this and can meet somewhere between the smoke and East Lancs/West Yorks drop me a line as we may be able to work out a meet up.
