2004 Signature STR-1 HB C (Lawsuit LP Custom) - Made in Japan

Commissioned by Tanglewood and handcrafted in Japan by Fujigen-Gakki.

Around 1000 made before Gibson issued their cease and desist order and they sold for £900 without a case, but I will include one for the new owner.

They're rare in general, but the C is slightly harder to find and this one is in very good condition; a Roland GK pickup was added by the previous owner (x2 screws) and the guitar is missing it's pickguard and bracket.

Body: 2-piece selected African mahogany
Top: 2-piece selected eastern maple
Finish: Ebony polyurethane w/ 5-ply binding
Neck: 1-piece selected African mahogany (long tenon, '59 profile)
Nut: 43mm bone
Fingerboard: Indian rosewood w/ 12 inch radius & mother of pearl inlays
Frets: 22 Dunlop 6100
Scale: 24.75 inches
Pickups: x2 Alnico II Gotoh HB Classics (PAF) w/ shielded cavities
Hardware: Grover 'Kidney Bean' tuners w/ Gotoh bridge & tailpiece
Weight: 8.8lbs

    Having tried out a few of the other brands like Tokai and Burny, they're the best LPs I've found under £1K (so far).
