Hello,
Having acquired a wah with a 9v input, I have run out of outputs on my Ojai power supply.
I'll get the expansion pack sometime.
Meanwhile...am I OK to run my Boss tuner TU-3 off the Line Selector LS-2 (plugged into a 9v output on the Ojai)?
Never noticed the 'out' on those pedals before...seems to work on a quick test but don't want to damage anything.
Appreciate these will not be isolated.
Advice appreciated.
Thanks

  • Totally fine. You can run a daisy chain for 5 analog pedals from one source (BOSS psa? or one-spot) with relatively low to zero noise. Mixing some digital pedals can add a teeny bit though. I still run my bass board with 4 stomps off a one-spot.

    Yeah it will be fine.

Usually analogue pedals like drives, compressors, eqs can all daisy chain perfectly.
It's usually digital pedals or anything with a clock / oscillator in it like a Flanger or a Delay that needs to be isolated.

People get way too excited about isolated power supplies. I have 6 Boss pedals running off a daisy chain  (including two choruses and a delay) and it's totally quiet. I had a lot more problems with complex isolated power supplies.
