Open to trades on both. I am particularly interested in a good quality smaller-bodied electro-acoustic. I'd prefer guitar and cash, rather than a super high end against the PJE.
PJE Macon Singlecut 2018 in Blue Burst - £3,500
Superb guitar here - but I just don't bond with single cuts and the neck is a tad big for me. It’s not huge but I’m picky. Open to trades on something more modern.
In excellent condition. The two volume pots are 100% functional but have some lateral movement on the shafts. Action is just over 1mm at the 12th on the high E, so plays very fast. Has a couple of minor marks of note, one which appears to be under the finish but it's hard to tell. There's also a little nick that I suspect could be buffed out near the neck pick-up.
Comes with case and certificate. Weighs in at a touch over 7lb.
Can be posted at cost. Collect from Carlisle, Cumbria.

Really great guitar, all stock (JB/59 pickups, original Floyd Rose, etc.). In great condition with one ding on the upper bout.
I've had the guitar checked recently by Haydn Williams (luthier) due to truss rod concerns, due to minimal relief. He's confirmed that the truss rod is fine - but, being an older Jackson, it's one-way, hence it's very straight with 9s on and has little relief. Action sits at around 0.5mm on the high E, so it plays very fast, nothing frets out (slight buzz near the nut, which a nut shim would help with). Haydn suggests 9.5s or 10s would apply more pressure to give more relief.
This is absolutely priced to sell.

Macons are amongst the best singlecuts you can buy. They don’t lose face to a Huber and smash anything by Gibson in my view. There’s a similar colour in music street approaching £6k.
Theyre rareish used which tells you all you need to know about how good they are.
