    It's Scotland's world cup final but for England it's just a bit of a kickabout to hone Southgate's 'Boredom football' philosophy.

    Scotland will start brightly, maybe even get in the English half by half-time. But a Scottish keeper calamity on 20 minutes will piss on their chips, likely followed by a Kane penalty on the hour mark and Rashford on 99 minutes.

    When I listened or watched the recent Ashes series I’m surrounded by legendary and experienced voices everywhere. Their whole chat is about the game , the history , old characters and plenty of great relevant chatter be it now or the past . So much so that the game itself need not be in progress at the time 

    But give me a break what the hell are Joe and Jill doing there- Mediocre pundits at best and no more interesting to listen to then Jack n Jill

    Scotland were pish so a useful exercise, just in case anyone was getting ahead of themselves. Still a lot of work to do.

    Foden and Bellingham were a cut above everyone else on the pitch.

    And the Rangers fans in the crowd certainly made themselves heard towards the end

    Has to be one of, if not the most in form player around. Though it's early doors at Madrid, to dominate in two foreign leagues and have just turned 20 is special.

    Southgate needs to concentrate now on giving experience to a Maguire replacement. When it comes to the very highest level the best teams will focus on the weaknesses and that at the moment will be Harry Maguire. He can't be warming the bench at United, needs to get out on loan and some game time. Good player but this team has a real shot at being world champions and it needs someone better.

    Imagine if it's 1-0 England in the 75th minute of the WC Final and Southgate brings on Maguire for Foden to shore the game. I don't think my heart could stand it.

    I think he’d do well under Hodgson at Palace slightly out of the limelight and playing a slightly more regressive style than he does at Man Utd.

    If the rumours are true we aren’t going to keep both our centre backs much longer and if Maguires wage demands are realistic I’d take him
