A reminder about setting up your tones

I recently spent ages trying to balance the tones with my Sonus fuzz face and Marshall SV20c to get the perfect cleanup with chime plus a nice not too woolly vol on full lead tone. 

Was taking forever. Tweak amp. Tweak pedal. Tweak amp. Tweak pedal. After about 4 days I'd probably settled to back the original settings about 8 times. It was never quite how I wanted everything. 

Then it struck me I'd forgotten a most important part and slightly lowered the neck pickup on the bass-side of my strat and suddenly everything sounded perfect so it wasn't the amp or pedal at all. 

Just a PSA to not forget those things go up and down depending on what you need.
