I've just bought three Behringer B-5s. They're about £60 new, possibly cheaper (mine were £52.99 from Amazon, but they're out-of-stock at the moment).

I've heard head-to-head recordings between them and other well-regarded SDCs and they stand up very well.

I'm going to be sticking nylon balls on the end to re-create Neumann M50s to use in a Decca Tree arrangement (!).

I've a couple of Rode M3's and been really happy with them. I'd let the pair go for about £95.00. They are boxed and complete. They can work from a 9v battery which is good if you don't have phantom power.
