This is an amazing bit of kit for bassist and reallylow tuned guitarists. It’s a HPF with a steep cut at 25hz with a slope of 36db/octave.

It’s brilliant for cutting low end flub that you can’t hear but your speakers are still trying to reproduce.

Also really good for bassists who like an always on Octave - like Dusty Hill did. Effectively stops the octave signal lower than a B getting through. No need to turn the pedal off when playing on the E String! (See ZZ Top rig rundown for details).
