Talking To Pod

I still use my old Line 6 Pod Pro as my main home amp (well, preamp through mixer). It's two decades old (is it vintage now?), but still in rude health.

That's more than can be said of the software to talk to it.

I'm now in a new build, WIN11 PC and the old software doesn't work, as it uses obsolete stuff (like old versions of Java).

Can anyone point me at something - ideally free - that allows me to interact with it via a screen, use the hidden controls and archive the patches?

These old beasts talk by MIDI.

There's something that works in a browser for the Pocket Pod, I can't remember what it's called but I've used that before - may also work with the Pod Pro?

I have it working in Windows 10, it does need to be on MIDI channel 1 and, the MIDI return won't work through a merge box (or at least it won't for me
