In praise of PastFX

My brother kindly gifted me a PastFX New Division (EHX Clone Theory clone/update) and it is epic.

 I generally don’t like chorus as an effect, I’ve owned/played most of the Boss ones, but this just has a grit/metallic edge which is post punk/new wave perfection. It has input and output gain so it is possible to drive the circuit/use it to drive the amp.

John McGeoch’s tones are some of my benchmarks, and this does a better job at some of them than the MXR117 circuit (I have the PastFX version of this well - The Hot for Flanger), possibly because he was using one together with a Jazz Chorus.
