Recommendations for Gilmour Fuzz

It’s NGD around here and I wanted to get Gilmour style fuzz to go with it. Any suggestions on makes and models

Top end: Original Civil War, Cornish P2, P1, Org Rams Head.
Middle Range- Thorpy Fallout, or the EHX Ram RI is decent, so's the Vick Audio 73.
Low end: Custom Pedal Boards Civil Muff (sensational at £98) or Boss Dig Metaliser.

Go for the low end- the CPB is fab, the Metaliser great for the later stuff PULSE era.

The Skreddy Lunar Module does a great fuzz lead tone in a box. Saves on a complex chain.

The EHX Ramshead reissue is really good. It’s marked as mid tier but it’s a fantastic pedal.

For information, Mark (Mr Skreddy) is still making the Lunar Module Deluxe pedal. I bought one in Feb 2023 and the delivered price to the UK was $ 150

I quite like the Blackout Effectors Musket Fuzz mainly because it covers a lot of Muff-styles in one pedal and the controls really allow it to be sculpted to suit pickups/amps, etc

Out of interest, did you have to wait long for this to be built?

No. I ordered and paid for it on the same day - and the post office delivered it 5 days later. That caught me out as I was away on holiday when they first attempted delivery.

I’ve not tried one but Tru-fi pedals look a great and do the Floyd Fuzz amongst others.

I don't, but I did buy a Hybrid Fuzz Driver from Joe recently and it's awesome

My favourite fuzz of all time and one to look out for as it's only only the second hand, is the Magnetic Effects White Atom. Does the Gilmour Fuzz Face thing perfectly well, and can definitely achieve the Muff sounds too. It's a really awesome pedal and can be had quite inexpensively if you're patient.
