Before I hit the shops and end up buying my first ever brand new guitar (after almost 50 years of playing), can anyone bring me back into the comforting world of a wee, secondhand, all-hog guitar?  :)

  • Small all hog Guitars are a treat!

I need one myself, but it's too close to my all koa to buy more guitars!

I regret not buying one in London 4 years ago. When I went back it had sold!

It’s been a long-considered decision. Nearly bought one earlier in the year but it was a bit too vintage and I need something less precious that would be more suitable for gigging.

Lovely guitar but not for me, I’m afraid. Thanks for the offer, though.

Possibly. But I’m going to hold out to see if I can find a US version at a decent price. Thanks for responding, though.

Martin OO-15 of interest?  Not exactly mint, but sounds sweet...

Someone selling an all hog Larrivee OM on marketplace and reverb. It looks superb and if I had the funds I’d have picked it up.

Looks lovely but I’m covered for OM/000 sized guitars. Ideally looking for a short scale, concert or 0 sized guitar, and even better if it’s all-hog. But thanks for the suggestion.  :)

Interesting! Thanks for the suggestion, it’s much appreciated. I’ve never tried a Maton so I’ll pass, but it looks like a nice guitar.

Not sure if you're still looking but I have an Eastman E10 OO-M that I'm thinking of selling, having just got another electric.
It's a OO size, all solid mahogany, 24.9" scale guitar with a 12th fret neck-body join. I got it used just under a couple of years ago but promptly broke my right shoulder and was unable to play an acoustic for over a year! Previous owner had a pickup fitted - I was told it's a K&K pure mini but can't confirm if this is correct.

No idea if this is the sort of thing you're after. Apologies for the crappy pictures.

Here's a video of one to give an idea of sound. It's that dry Americana sort of thing. Model being played (not mine or me - obviously!) is the same spec but doesn't appear to have a pickguard:
