edited September 2023 in Guitars £

Warmoth £1200 £1100 ono

This is a ballpark figure, as it is hard to value at current prices, for one-off guitars with custom artwork.

Peavey Wolfgang Special £600  Sold via eBay

PRS DGT £2250 SOLD

Specifications

One Piece Warmoth Custom Soloist Alder body with the Custom Contoured Heel option, for better upper fret access and it is finished in a  custom Kawasaki MotoGP Racing, with artwork by Aerograffiti

Warmoth Custom 1 Piece Maple Wolfgang profile fretboard: Maple No Inlays side markers only.

The Warmoth maple neck is unfinished and so is incredible to play. The profile is the Warmoth "Wolfgang" profile which is the same asymmetrical profile found on the Peavey Wolfgang model.

The neck has the Warmoth double truss rod with side adjustment. so the truss rod adjustment is on the side of the heel for super easy access, and no messing about with removing the neck, etc.

Bridge Pickup: Bare Knuckle Pickups Miracle Man - Custom painted in Kawasaki Green

Neck Pickup: DiMarzio HS4

The Volume control is a push/pull pot, so the pickup selector is the volume knob, like George Lynch's ESP guitars.

Original Floyd Rose locking bridge in black (Update: will also add an unused EVH D-Tuna in matching black finish)

Schaller Tuners in black

Comes with a black DiMarzio Clip lock strap.

Also the original paperwork for the custom paint job.

The artwork by Aerograffiti is based on the fairing decal from the 2008/2009 Kawasaki MotoGP Works Racing bike ridden by John Hopkins of the USA. The 21 is John's rider number.

This guitar comes in an SKB hard case pictured and I will include a fresh packet of D'Addario strings. so you can set it up to taste.

Action is low, but will go even lower if you are that way inclined.

The guitar is in Exeter, Devon

I'm sure I've commented on this guitar before, but I think it looks utterly fantastic, even though the Kawasaki artwork means absolutely nothing to me.  The way that green pickup matches the background is just... so cool.

    (Good luck with the trade!)

Some more pictures of the details and the weight is just over 7lbs/3.3kg.

Apparently, the airbrushed custom paint job was the best part of £500 according to the original receipt.

Any questions, just ask and I'll do my best to answer them.

The neck on this guitar is sublime, super smooth and just a joy to play. The Original Floyd Rose is decked and the full version, not an OEM, so sounds great and the action is super smooth.

Comes with an optional wood insert if you want it non-moving, which was made for this guitar.

Was asked what's the control cavity like and I would say tidy, shielded, with plenty of space for extra controls.

Or you could smuggle stuff in it.   ;)

Forgot, I have a matching black EVH D-Tuna which is unused and I can add to the sale/trade of the guitar.

As the Original Floyd Rose on this guitar is decked and so it will work a treat for any Drop D tuning with this neat little add-on.

I'll put it in the case with a fresh packet of D-Addario 9s and then if the new owner wants to use it, it is ready to go.

Adding this Peavey EVH Wolfgang Special £595

Upgraded to an original Floyd Rose, rather than the old Peavey branded cheaper licensed model they came with from the factory.

    Body: Basswood

    Top Wood: Quilted Maple

    Fretboard:  Maple

    Grover tuners

Upgraded Floyd Rose locking trem with a brass block

Has a few marks and scratches from being played. The back is black and has plenty of scratches, but hard to photograph them as it is shiny.

Weighs just over 8 lbs / 3.8 kgs

    See photos for details.

Yes, it has a flat quilt top and a set of Grover tuners, which I think is the sign it is Korean.

Though, this one has a Floyd Rose and not the old Peavey-licensed one.

I just noticed all the reflections in my photos.

I'll take a few more pictures in a bit and add them.

Had a lot of trade offers via FB Marketplace for these two though nothing quite different enough to tempt me (I have enough RG550s and PRS as it is)

So bumping, as trades or trade plus cash is certainly what I would consider.

I'm looking at predominantly hard-tail guitars and solid, semi or hollow-bodied guitars are all viable. Ideally, P90s or Humbuckers.

Also, if anyone has any questions or needs more photos, I can do that, as I'm around all week.

Guitars are in Exeter and people are welcome to come play them.

Trades welcome and will also consider other music gear, so just ask if you have something in mind.

Going to just put these up for sale only and will entertain offers on the price.

I'm about to move house in a few weeks and so looking to not have to transport these ideally, so offers welcome.

Will probably add my PRS DGT that I tried to trade earlier in the year, but gave up on as 'everyone is skint' but will sell it if it means I don't have to move it.

Just over 8lbs, one tiny dint down by the input jack and has paperwork, case, keys, tools, etc

    £2250

No, I don't believe PRS use those on DGT models

  • Friday evening nudge to the top and as I said earlier in the week, I will also consider trades and part ex as well.

Two great guitars, though you need to love decked Floyd Rose to really appreciate them. I have way too many Floyd-equipped guitars and these are two I can let go out of my guitar horde.

    Cheers for looking

Peavey Wolfgang Special is now sold (via eBay) and so just the super cool green Warmoth SuperStrat left.

Would possibly trade this one or part/ex.
