FS/FT: Avalon A-12 Custom - Price Drop to £1350

I'll probably regret this but....

 Looking selling or trading my Avalon acoustic.

If you're reading this you probably know all about these. Made in Newtownards, Northern Ireland by the former Lowden folks in the former Lowden factory.

This particular one is quite a rarity - one of only ten made. Based on emails I was forwarded when I got it, my understanding is it was the result of a suggestion to Avalon by Flora Fauna International that they find a way of using some of the expensive tone woods that would otherwise have become scrap - so in 2006 they built a few guitars with 4 piece tops and backs and a laminate neck.   The craftsmanship is amazing!  

It looks and sounds beautiful. The top is spruce, and the back and sides are Honduran mahogany. The neck is mahogany and maple and the fingerboard and bridge are a beautifully black ebony. Gotoh machine heads and ox bone nut and saddle.  It has a pickup installed which sounds excellent (I think it's a Baggs but not sure how I'd confirm that).

Condition wise - it has play wear which I've tried to picture. Particularly quite a few little indentations on the front (lower side as its being played) which are pick and fingernail marks. On the top of the front there are also some pick marks and there's a longish crack in the finish (I've had a camera inside to check there's no crack inside, which there isn't, hence think it's the finish).

The guitar comes in its original Hiscox Case which amazingly still has the key. Case is in decent condition though the flap for the inner compartment has seen better days.

Why am I selling? Well I fancy something smaller bodied and need to make some space and all that.

Price wise it's been hard because it's such an unusual model - I'd take £1500 £1350 collected bearing in mind the dings etc.

Happy to listen to trades (ideally part only). but I'm fussy (sorry!). Main thing I'm interested in would be a smaller bodied and cheaper electro acoustic.
