Gretsch Boxcar Opinions

Hey all - anyone got any opinions on Gretsch resonators, particularly the Boxcar?

Peach have a good deal on them at the moment and I’ve been eyeing a resonator for a while.

    I’d save your money and go a bit more upmarket if you can.  You get what you pay for at that end of the market. 

    I might be wrong.  Just didn’t like the one I tried.

    Yeh, I was a bit dubious at the price but like you say they seem to get good reviews.
