DiMarzio Track pickup covers are removable/interchangeable. They are available in pure white, off white, minty green and cream.

Sick people such as I buy them in yellow, green, red or violet.

Come to think of it, DiMarzio also offers a choice of finish colours for the polepieces. Nickel, anodised matt black or, on selected models, gold.

Worse case scenario, the black DiMarzio polepieces are nickel plated under the anodised coating.

I love coloured Dimarzios but I am all about the 80s

Most Dimarzio rail pickups have black rails by default. Whilst nickel and gold are available you're unlikely to get them in either of those colours unless you buy new, either as a custom order or through someone like Banjomikez on eBay in the US. Sorry!

I'm sure one with black rails will come up if you can compromise on the rail colour, after all there are plenty of Choppers out there. It's just nickel that would be quite rare. And the covers are easily replaceable, so don't worry too much if one comes up which is a different colour. Covers are usually sold in packs of three but Max Cottam sells them individually on fleabay. Also I seem to recall the Irongear rail covers fit Dimarzios but are a little shorter (many Dimarzio pickups are taller than regular Fender pickups and have correspondingly taller covers - e.g. rails, FS1 and SDS1, and all the stacked humbuckers: HS/ Virtual Vintage/ Areas)

I might have a Chopper, but I won't be sure until I get home - I have some covers lying around too so I can make sure it's white. I will let you know if I find one!
