FS/T Price drop: Martin Grand Performance 35 series with Fishman Aura pick-up system

Hi all,

Selling this Martin guitar, purchased by me from new in 2018. East Indian Rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top. Martin’s Grand Performance body shape is sort of the best compromise between a dreadnaught and an OM. The warmth of the OM with a bit more volume and projection due to the slightly deeper body. This one has 35-series features and is akin to a D35, with the 3-piece back and all the appointments. It also has the Fishman Aura Enhance pickup system, so there is an impulse response on-board, as well as the body sensor and microphone. This can be blended in as needed, or left out for a more traditional amplified sound. I have gigged this and it is a thing of beauty plugged in.

Reason for sale is two-fold. Firstly, I’ve picked up a Huss & Dalton OM which I slightly prefer and it is tonally similar enough to the Martin that I’d like something different. I would consider a trade for an absolute cannon of a dreadnaught or Gibson Super Jumbo shape – something with massive tone that I could play unplugged at a bluegrass jam and be easily heard, basically.
