...to pair with a GLORIOUS @Alegree Desert Dew neck pickup.

Must be splittable.

I bought a guitar that has Alegree Desert Dew pickups. I intended to pull them out straight away because I already have the single coil thing sorted in other guitars.

The neck is so good I'm keeping it in this guitar. The bridge is so good I'm putting it in another guitar. It's just a bit too single coily for what I want to do with this guitar.

I want something good. Not boutique expensive. A bit different. I like Dimarzio and Kent Armstrong pickups. I'd also love to try a Bill & Becky L500XL. This Alegree experience has opened my eyes to other left-field offerings. Something "traditional/hot" or "modern/warm" would be ideal. Must sound good in a partial split.

What's out there?

I've a Seymour Duncan Custom Custom that's currently got an A5 magnet in so effectively a Custom 5. I found the 5 worked much better with the cover. I'll throw in the A2 magnet so you have the choice.

Works great with a PRS style partial split.

It's got a nickel cover atm, but I'm pretty sure I've a chrome one if you'd prefer.

    £80 posted?

Alternatively I've also have a Gibson Burstbucker 3 going spare. Again currently nickel, but happy to swap to chrome.

    £80 posted?

    Cheers,

    Jeff

    Thanks for the offer.

I'm going to try to hang on and see if anything more unusual becomes available.

    EDIT 18/06

Putting this search on hold for a while. I've put the stock bridge humbucker back in and I'm quite enjoying it.
