This is a rare guitar. I had a bunch of CS Fenders but always felt they leaned too much to the vintage side of things, and I wanted a more modern feeling and playing guitar that still had a vintage relic look. This guitar is exactly that and is amazing. It has the same feel as a Fender Masterbuilt guitar, where it feels broken in and it really feels like home when holding it. The neck is a lovely round shape, similar to a fender 60’s oval C but with a little more girth, or even similar to the Guthrie Govan neck, just a little thicker. The neck really is a joy to play and hold. The guitar is the perfect combination of vintage and modern and with the Bareknuckle pickups you can play SRV blues to metal with ease. Don’t think this is just for metal - I don’t even play metal and mainly play blues and rock to heavy rock. It really is extremely versatile and fun.
Everything is stock with the exception of the addition of a treble bleed on the volume which allows unbelievably good blues sounds with the volume backed off. It really tames the Ragnarok bridge pickup. With the volume full up there is huge girth with this guitar. The tone knob works great and you can get a very tight huge sound with the tone full up, or really thick with the tone backed off some.
The guitar is very resonant and balanced when played acoustically. The hipshot tuners are possibly the best locking tuners I have ever used. I never tuners much thought, but they are very accurate and great solid feel when using them.
It’s very rare to see a Jackson Custom Shop with the licensed strat headstock shape with fender style relic finish. The Jackson Custom Shop wait time is crazy (at least 4 years), and you cant get a strat headstock as an option. I had to reserve this one in the USA.
I have also removed the Tremol-No system and replaced it with a solid brass claw. The Tremol-no comes with it. I will also include Luminlay Nickel knobs as alternatives to the strat knobs. I like them better.

Custom Shop Gibson Les Paul Custom ‘68 Re-issue from 2003 - £3950 delivered (SOLD)
Fantastic Custom Shop Gibson Les Paul Custom ’68 Re-issue from 2003. I looked for a while for LPC in yellow like Randy Rhodes but didn’t want a brand new looking one, and didn’t like the newer Murphy Aged ones, as I think the checking is overdone. I found this one and loved the perfect shade of yellow aged Alpine white and subtle natural aging and wear on it. It is in great condition, with some light pick and clearcoat scratches and natural nitro checking around the knobs and side of the neck binding as you normally find on the alpine white finishes. Frets are in good condition. The neck is really comfy and nice to play, and I find it similar to a medium R9 shape and size. It comes with the stock 57 Classic pickups and has all the grunt and bite you would expect from a LPC. Great sounding guitar that is fun to play.

The new Les Paul Standard 2013 follows the same formula as the most beloved Les Pauls of all time. The guitar shows off its looks with a Grade-AAA figured maple top for outrageous looks. The marriage of solid maple top and mahogany back, treated to Gibson’s new modern weight relief pattern for improved comfort and enhanced resonance, provides a blend of richness, depth, punch, and clarity that no single-wood guitar can provide.
