New Scratchplate day

I decided to have a change and take the custom made chromed brass scratchplate off my Jap strat. Here is the before pic.


Here is the open heart surgery pic.


Most of the screw holes needed filling as the screws for the chrome plate were bigger than standard, they all I could get in black at the time (axesrus do some better ones now) and part of the reason for the change as they were a bit agricultural.
I also replaced the switch with a new oak grigsby unit.
