Wanted a short length of 4 conductor humbucker cable please

I have a DiMarzio super distortion humbucker on which the cable has been cut very short and then extended. It’s perfectly functional, but it grates on me.

Where can I get a length of four conductor cable and some black tape please?

I found a website instructing how to replace the cable. Hopefully will go well, I’ve never done it before…

Cut up a micro USB cable, the type used for phones, external harddrives etc . That will have 4 conductors and a shield.

I got mine from Alegree. (Other suppliers are available.) I should still have some.

Ash from Oil City Pickups posted a thread on how to do the job, with lots of photographs. I forget whether the thread is in Guitars, Making & Modding or Made In The UK.

The obvious caveat is to triple check the insulation colour codes before joining things together.

I used a Hosco 3 conductor recently for a 3 way toggle after using a micro usb cable which just increased the noise levels beyond acceptable.
I'd guess their 4 conductor is just
