SORTED: WTB / WTT a nice univibe

I’ve been through a few near misses and now I fancy trying a good, authentic one! Something like a Weaver, Mojo, Classic Vibe, Castledine…

Anything out there? I have some cash, though not crazy amounts - and / or a bunch of pedals to trade.

I have been down a reasonable sized rabbit-hole in the search for a vibe. By far the stand out for me was the Pedal Pawn Gypsy Vibe, absolutely wonderful.

Gak had them on sale not too long ago, might still have some stock left

I'm sure it would be fab, but I fancy trying one of the 'higher end' ones to try to put my Univibe desires to bed! I know, I know... I'll probably end up selling it on here a few weeks later ;-)

Also it's a bit high priced for me compared to buying new - HotRox have them for 279. Maybe because it comes with the expression pedal. Or maybe I'm just a cheapskate...

You get a Provibe, a Fuzzfoot, and an Octave in the same box. It also comes with two extra fuzz cards (plus the original Hybrid card): Silicon & Germanium.

I have an rx weaver violet vibe, but the led needs changing as I left on for a couple of days and it got burned and then took it a to a guy for repair and the guy put the wrong one in and now it takes a couple of stomps to get it to turn on. I don't have it me with me unfortunately, need to get it back from my home country. My treasure is the unique vibe shiftee which I also have kind of the same problem, but not selling that one as they turn up very rarely. Send me a message if you are interested about the rx weaver. Kingtone are also good, version one you can find cheaply sometime on reverb.

There’s a dejavibe on here too. Good enough for Robin Trower. Retrovibe is good enough for Greg Koch - he’s pretty knowledgable about vibes.

Hey man, I’ve withdrawn the Retrovibe for now … I was having terrible GAS for another Xotic strat - thankfully it seems to have gone so I’ve withdrawn the pedal hah! Honestly I’m really not selling mine now but if you haven’t tried the Retrovibe I’d just get one and be happy! It’s probably the longest I’ve ever owned a pedal!
