I've got a used for 2 days so mint Mo Joe(it wasn't what I expected) and an Air Norton with plenty of wire if anyone wants to part with a Norton.

May also consider a Dimarzio Rails neck pickup (flangeless/quick connect).

In my experience, all of the DiMarzio Satch signature model pickups are of lower output than you might imagine. (Satch must pile on more amplifier gain than most people.)

The Air Norton makes an excellent neck position pickup - especially with series/parallel mode switching - but it would easily overpower a FRED or Mo' Joe in the bridge position.

If your objection to this pickup pairing is level balancing rather than tone, you only really need to change one of them.

Mo' Joe bridge + Satch Track neck is the obvious combination. As for Air Norton bridge + something else at the neck position, I'm not sure what to recommend.

Getting back on topic, I might be interested in one of your humbuckers but I do not have the right item(s) to trade against it. :frown:
    Be seeing you.

  • I have a Tone Zone and Air Norton S in one guitar and a Tone Zone and Chopper Neck in my other.  The Air Norton is a hangover from an old HH guitar.  The reason I suggested a trade was in part because I’ve just paid retail for the Mo Joe and finding a Norton is damn near impossible in the UK.  Which one interests you?
