SOLD Nitrate/celluloid pickguard for a strat.  Edit - this is a modern reproduction, not a 60s original.  I had it fitted to a 61 Strat, so fits that year plus others probably.
I imported this from the US in 2016, but can’t remember what vendor it was from.

SOLD Fender branded ‘vintage kluson’ style, slot head tuners, to fit Strat or tele.  These have been slightly aged over a pan of simmering vinegar - they are still shiny, but not as shiny as they were when they left the factory.  Includes the bushes and screws.

This pickup came in one of the Forty Niner 2012 promo sets that Ash promoted on theFretboard last summer.  The sticker on the bottom says ‘Forty Niner 2012’, but according to the Oil City website there’s no such thing as a Forty Niner neck PU.  I enquired with Ash, and he says it’s ‘basically a Honky Tonk Angel’.

ON HOLD pending me checking exactly what pickup this is! Oil City Forty Niner Tele Neck pickup.  £45.
There should be a self-adhesive label on the underside of the pickup, adhering to the fibreboard baseplate. On this label, in tiny handwriting, there ought to be a model identifier code. e.g. HTA is Honky Tonk Angel.

A D.C. resistance meter reading should also aid identification.

If you are lucky, the label may include a serial number. It ought to be possible to cross-reference this against Ash's production records.
    Be seeing you.

Thanks.  My original listing was based on the sticker on the bottom of the pickup, which says it’s a Forty Niner.  But according to Ash’s website, there’s no such thing as a Forty Niner neck pickup.  I’ve emailed Ash to see if has record of my order (cos I don’t).

Makes sense. An Alnico 3 neck/Rhythm pickup - such as the Honky Tonk Angel N - would be historically correct for 1949/50 Fender guitars.
    Be seeing you.

Ok tuner sizes.  The only things I’m guessing that are interesting……..
Tuner width (and therefore distance between capstan centres): 24mm
    Capstan diameter: 6mm
