This is the last to go. Hayden Speakeasy 50, hand-wired and designed by Dave Green. It is an interesting amp, with el34 and 6l6 valves. Switchable between, and use both sets. I can hear great Orange and AC sounds, with nice tweed American tones also. It's not the lightest, but it's a manageable 1 person carry. The cabinet is ridiculously high-end, fitted with a 12" Eminence Red Coat. It's the most solid thing in my house, my house included.
There is some background hum with higher master volume levels, but the amp has been checked out by Martin at Stoneham amps and it's all working as it should. This is my best recording amp - just seems to work in every mix, and the noise is not noticeable in use.
Location - North Tyneside
Hand built by Dave Green himself in the Hayden UK Custom Shop. Original retail price of £1649
