I have decided I cannot rest until I can make my guitar sound like Charlie Brown's teacher - what have you got?

Wait for the new Meatball creation from @Thorpyfx and Dan Coggins.

    Any clues Adrian?

Have a look at the What Pedal Show review of the new Maestro pedal - they seem to love it and it's heavily discounted in a few spring sales.

Try and find a Source Audio Spectrum.

I'm a filter addict and the Spectrum is amazing. It will do perfect versions of the famous old filter pedals but without the noise. The factory Meatball setting on it (Dumpling!) is a thing of beauty.

Gonna be this year. Just finalising art designs and final board design.

A couple of Auto-Wah/Envelope Filter sounds come to mind e.g. the solos on Edie Brickell's 'What I am' and Odyssey's 'Going back to my Roots' and the sounds that Tom Misch gets. Any idea if there's a pedal that covers those?

The problem I've had in the past is that they sound too phaser-ish or don't have that lovely quack like on the Edie Brickell track. I must say, my friend's 70's MXR Envelope Filter does it but I've had a couple of those from that decade and they're nnowhere near as good or sound the same.

Blimey. The Source Audio one sounds great and as I play bass, too, that has some great applications.

I'm looking forward to hearing the Thorpy one

Another vote for the Source Audio recommended by fretmeister when I asked the same question some time back. It was a lot of features straight out of the box and you don’t need to mess about with the app if you don’t want to.

    Again I couldn’t resist the 3leaf hype, and when a used GR2 came up I couldn’t resist.

Currently I use my Zelzah for a great envelope filter sound

I've had two of those. One was the best envelope filter I've ever heard, the other was quite average. The only visual difference between them was that the font for the average one was in bold typeface and was (i think) a later version.

edit: just found my original thread where I noted the difference - https://www.thefretboard.co.uk/discussion/130818/mxr-envelope-filter-s#
