Had a Fender one years ago and want it again. Peavey Valverb, 6g15 home made, all possibilities considered. Needs to have drip! Take my money.

Someone just listed the Source Audio True Spring for sale here. Honestly, I played in surf bands for a decade, and this thing gets as close to real spring reverb as the real deal. It's an incredible pedal with loads of tweakability via the app. Well worth looking into... It's the most natural surfy spring reverb I've ever played, and I've been through loads.

My SA True Spring can be tweaked to sound indistinguishable from tank in my '74 Pro Reverb

tanks in Pro Reverbs are quite different from standalone units. Your reverb circuit is after the preamp, in a standalone it comes first and actually removes some of the gain as well as adding tonal artefacts. I currently use an EHX Holy Grail plus which is also fine and even drips and have had a bunch of stuff previously, but it's just not quite the same :)

@parker_knoll got it. I think I prefer smashing reverb into the front of the amp overall
