Pedalboard Sale - Part 1

edited April 2023 in FX £
I only play at home. Between 2020 and '22 I accidentally accrued a tonne of pedals (I actually don't know the number), 4 amps and 3 cabs, and then in '23 started using Amplitube. So, er, I now have a lot of stuff sitting around doing little.

Because it's so much to go through, find boxes, clean & photograph I'll do this in stages to keep it manageable. I have listed everything in post #2 in case there's a bit of a combo or job-lot that anyone fancies. I also have an Engl Tube Preamp 530 and Fryette Power Station (PS-2A) going up as soon as I write the thread. At some point there'll be the Aclam pedalboard & accessories too.

I live in Maidstone, Kent, and am happy to travel a bit if it's worth it for a meetup. Pretty much everything is boxed and can be sent (exceptions will be noted). I always use fully insured and signed for delivery. The prices below are excluding delivery, which I'll quote for you.

Everything is in good home-use only condition, bought new by me (except where noted). Some pedals have little chips in the paint on the leading edge near the footswitch commensurate with normal use. Any other damage/marks will be noted.

Everything is negotiable!

This thread shall focus on:

  • Warm Audio Foxy Tone Box - apparently faithful reissue of the Fox Tone Machine, modernised a little (e.g. centre negative 9V power supply, one of which is included) -  £95 SOLD
  • Stone Deaf Warp Drive - highly versatile evolution of the Josh Homme approved PDF drive/distortion with an in-built switchable noise gate - £105 SOLD
  • Electro Harmonix Eddy Analog Chorus/Vibrato - very vesatile analog modulation device, with some added expression and environment features. EHX's video explains all. It's also easy to ignore those bits and it's just a good chorus/vibrato - £70 - SOLD
  • Dunlop Cry Baby Original Wah - GCB95 - £75 SOLD
  • Orange Amp Detonator Active Isolated ABY with Phase Inversion - perfect for wet/dry or twin amp setups, with no ground loop worries - £60 SOLD
  • Fjord Odin Octave Fuzz mk1 - single knob (volume) fuzz with foot-switchable octave, sounds great at volume. There's a ding in the metal part of the knob, and I'm not sure I kept the (completely generic brown) box - £100 SOLD
  • Ibanez Tube Screamer Mini - I like this as a tightening boost into a distorting amp - £37.50
  • TC Electronic Spark Mini - 20dB capable clean boost, small footprint - £37.50

List of other stuff for sale:

    • Fryette Power Station PS-2A - fantastic reactive load attenuator, 50W 6L6 valve power amp and effects loop box of magic tricks - £695 - SOLD
    • Engl Tube Preamp 530 - Modern Rock - two to four channel rack preamp (bought used in '22, wear to rack ears & a couple of front panel chips) that's very tweakable and runs the gamut from clean to more distortion than you'd ever need - £300
    • Dunlop DVP4 Volume (X) Mini - a mini-sized volume pedal that can also work as an expression pedal - £90
    • TC Electronic Plethora X5 - five TC Electronic digital modulation and time effects in one box, highly configurable, stereo in & out - £345
    • TC Electronic Polytune 3 - it's a tuner. True bypass if you want, or with a good buffer - £60
    • Walrus Audio Fathom (with Luna artwork) - I liked this as a hall reverb, but it does a lot more than that besides - £135
    • Electro Harmonix Green Russian Big Muff - reissue of the '90s big muff, essential for covering grunge bands - £60
    • MXR M87 Bass Compressor - Ooh, it's got flashy lights - £135
    • Boss ES-5 - 5-pedal true bypass loop switcher (bought used in '22) that's very easy to use and setup, plus has amp switching and MIDI capabilities - can easily be the heart of any rig - £300
    • Electro Harmonix Nano Deluxe Memory Man - it's a great memory man in a standard pedal-size format - £120
    • Boss EQ200 - very versatile stereo EQ pedal. I used this split as a pre-amp and post-amp EQ, and learned a hell of a lot about amp tone (bought used from this very forum in '22) - £155
    • Boss MD200 - another from Boss's highly versatile 200 range of digital pedals, focussed on modulation. To my shame, I've never used it (bought used from ebay I think, no box, but I switched to Amplitube before I ever tried it...) - £155
