Right,

Would rather not sell this (I know, I know they all say that don’t they ?) but pragmatically speaking my fondness for buying off brand curios means that most of the guitar pile is worthless on the used market, whereas we all know that Dennis Cornell is a well respected legend of the UK amp scene.
And that, allied  to the fact that it’s my 20th wedding anniversary next month at a time when I’m a bit light on cash means it’s going up for sale.

Now with added pics ! ;

But basically this ;

is why I bought it, because I wanted that sound, which it sort of does but it’s not quite as tight or focused sounding as in the video out of the box but sticking something up it’s front end (my TC Spark Boost does the job perfectly but I’m guessing the venerable SD-1 would also work it’s magic) or as he’s doing in the video slam it with some High Output EMGs into the Hi input and there it is !

Mine is as per the video except that it’s tweed rather than black so a kind of “wolf in sheep’s clothing” vibe to it and on mine the tone and gain switches are on push pull pots rather than separate switches.

Observe the Hi & Lo inputs the Lo input is especially useful for the cleaner/ edge of breakup tones if that’s you’re bag but given that the stated intention of this amp is to capture that 80s Hot Rodded Marshall “Brown Sound” I’m guessing that’s not why we’re here ?
Also check out the the 4, yes 4 stage power attenuation that can take you down as low as 1/4 of a watt for maximum bedroom goodness

It’s in very good nick and comes with a cover

I’m going to start at £750 because that’s what I paid for it used but open to a chat  £700 now £670 now £650 now £600 ! I mean £600 what a deal

AND NOW WITH ADDED TRADES,

I’m currently awash with nostalgia for my old rack setup so am after a Marshall JMP1 rack pre amp, so would take one of those plus a bit of cash, or with a rack power amp as well ?

Based in Glasgow, mildly terrified at the prospect/cost/risk of posting a valve combo but again open to a chat
