I recently changed my filming and recording setup for my YouTube videos, but I'm experiencing sync issues between my audio and video. Here's a rundown of my gear:

  • For video, I use a Sony ZV-e10 camera that shoots in 24fps 4k. I use a shotgun mic for speech, and I haven't had any problems with it.
  • I also use an iPhone camera that shoots in 24fps 4k as a second camera.
  • I record my guitar into GarageBand and then share it to iTunes.
  • Finally, I create a project in Final Cut at 24fps and 48 sample rate.

The footage from my iPhone to Sony camera is fine, but the issues arise when I add the audio from my guitar. I suspect it might have something to do with the sample rate - 44.1 vs. 48. Can anyone offer any advice on how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance!
