Tramontane content.

What's Hot
My best friend of 57 years has bought his first guitar at 73 . Never played ever before. He has purchased a Tramontane travel series KA KYAHA. I don't know why he picked it? maybe he liked the look. I have read some average reviews, and I think it is half decent for a first guitar. I have not seen it yet. Has any members got one of these or ever played one,I would thank you for your comments ,good or bad.
Also £25 an hour for lessons,is that the going rate now?

It depends where your friend is.

In Manchester, around  £20 an hour. But I'd have thought £25 isn't too bad.

    :)

£19-£25 depending where, so £25 is the upper end but still in the ballpark

OK Bertie, thanks for that, if he sticks at it he will buy something better. It seems a lot better than my first guitar in the early sixties unbranded made in China and cost £5. It got me started and I moved on to a lot better things. You know how it is.

Don't know about the travel guitar but I have a LAG Tramontane GLAT200D12CE.
Bought it on a whim as you do...
It's a pretty nicely appointed good 12 string for the price.
Me being me, I still prefer my old EKO 12 string, but the LAG's a nice 12.

Well thanks fellow Fber's. It would appear that I know as much about Tramontane guitars as everyone else, which is next to nothing, and the only thing I know is that my friend has just bought one.
Thanks anyway,it was worth a try, Regards.

It's on loan to Ukraine as an anti tank weapon/ bomb shelter at the moment :D
Seriously, it is the first guitar that I bought new, the longest that I have owned & it isn't for sale at any time, for any price.
