I have to say up front that I generally don't like the sound of slide guitar,
Having said that - his version of Delia is a lot closer to what I like than most of his other stuff

I prefer lap steel

We supported Charlie earlier this year in Birkenhead. A great guy and great raconteur. Wonderful player that even on his own, did not get boring in 90 plus min set
